• Fight stress: Learn to overcome stress, don't be panicked if you are not getting projects, leads initially. For one of my friend it took 4 months to get his first project, that to of very small $ value. I told my friend that this is the opportunity you give your best shot to this project and then see what magic happens. And yes months later when I met him he has got his own new office space and was working with a team of freelancers.
  
• As I mentioned in previous post start at the right time and in case you can start making business contracts before you quit your regular job it would be nice, thus you can save yourself from the stress of making business relationships as a full time freelancer as you have already got some links.
• Smart work: Feel free to use tools etc that can increase your productivity.
• Plan your work and keep focus on all the projects you are handling.

• Work for branding yourself: In freelancing reputation is everything if you get initials negative reviews at some freelance portals it means the road has become more difficult for you. The best thing to do is never commit thing you can't do, communicate clearly, send timely reports and above all take care of the quality.


• competitive costs: Don't bid too low or too high, initialy you may require to keep your costs low. Here is the big tip try to bid low of smaller projects which you can finish in a week or two for long term projects bid high as over time you will realise that this project is costing you over new project that you can negotitate for higher price.


• Paralled personal life: Don't stock the work for a soccer match or dealy the work as this can effect your health, personal relations.

Hi all,

Today I am very happy that I opted for work at home jobs at the right time. Though I undertake work at home jobs like paid surveys, mystery shopping along with SEO freelancing (I work as search engine optimisation expert at a web design and Internet Marketing company). Last week few of the employees of our company were fired due to data theft and sharing companys confidential information with people outside.
