Freelancersunion.org is a national nonprofit organization specially for freelancers that represents the needs and concerns of workforce through advocacy, information and service. According to surveys freelancers along with other independent workers make about 30% of the nation’s workforce.

History of Freelancers union.org : In 1995, Sara Horowitz, a former labor lawyer, founded Working Today to meet the needs of the new, independent workforce.
